What it was
A substantial Python systematic-market research organization built for research departments, quantitative labs, academic or industry R&D teams, and technically capable buyers who value an auditable foundation over black-box promises. Modular departments are coordinated by a Research Director and include Opportunity, Postmortem and Self-Study labs. It captures experiment outcomes, failures and WAIT/NO_TRADE counterfactuals, then proposes evidence-linked, human-approved tuning with explicit versions and rollback paths.
AEGIS produced extensive audited research infrastructure, but the final controlled programs were NO-GO and did not establish an independently validated profitable edge. Rather than make trading or return claims, the owner froze promotion and prepared a documented asset sale for a research department or lab that can extend it with its own hypotheses, data rights and review authority.
The program ran opportunity scans, controlled experiments, postmortems, self-study and WAIT/NO_TRADE counterfactual analysis across tooling and manifests for 222 Binance-derived datasets. The final programs remained NO-GO. There were no customers or users to churn.
